Toys at work

Certain sale items were an extra 50% off at Urban Outfitters last weekend (a sale on top of a sale is my favorite kind of discount) and R spotted a few things that we couldn’t live without…TOYS!

My collection of Funko Pop! vinyl figures started with Wolverine and quickly grew to include Iron Man and Gizmo. Now I’m welcoming Minnie and Mickey Mouse to the group.

R also picked up the Steve Jobs biography, two Kidrobot Pop! balloon animals (one is the pink bear next to Minnie) and Homer and Bart Simpson Funko Pop! figures for himself and Peety Draws.

Here’s a quick price breakdown:

  • Funko Pop! figure – was $14, on sale for $2.50 (purchased 6)
  • Kidrobot Pop! balloon animal – was $8, on sale for $1 (purchased 2)
  • Steve Jobs: A Biography – was $35, on sale for $5
  • Retail value – $135
  • Total spent – $23
For those who love discount percentages as much as I do, that’s an 80% savings. Woo hoo!
