My mom is a serial crafter. Knitting, basket weaving, scrapbooking, jewelry making…you name it, she’s tried it and probably did it really well. I spent the weekend at my parents’ house just for fun and saw one of Momma K’s latest creations.
I’m not one for seasonal decorations but if I were, these acorns would be involved. Mom scoured the backyard for acorn tops and bought pom-poms in fall colors – orange, green, yellow, brown, red – to create this inexpensive but fun decoration.
Of course mom even has a leaf shaped bowl to display them. She also suggested scattering a handful or two along your table to act as a runner or sprinkling a few around your plates of food. This would be a fun craft project to do with little kids because it just involves tacky glue.
I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
